Apunix's Grayscale Image Scanners offer both 8-bit (256-level grayscale) and 1-bit (binary or halftone) scan modes. Three models are available.

• The ASC-RIS60 features a 600 DPI native output resolution and a maximum scan area of 8.3"x14", with an optional 30-sheet document feeder.
• The ASC-RIS410 High Speed Scanner has a 400 DPI native resolution and a maximum scan area of 11"x17", and features a built-in 50-sheet document feeder capable of scanning up to 20 PPM at 200 DPI.
• The ASC-RIS420 High Speed Scanner has a 400 DPI native resolution and a maximum scan area of 11"x17", and features a built-in 100-sheet document feeder capable of scanning up to 45 PPM at 200 DPI.

All three models come with Apunix OpenScan, which includes the SCSI device driver; a command-line scan utility; a documented and stable API for using the Apunix Scanner Driver in custom scanning applications; and Apunix's award-winning OpenScan application, a fully-featured GUI for controlling any Apunix Scanner.
